The No-Hype Pledge

Back in 2006, I put a promise on this website: you would never be impressed or tempted with pictures of my cars, my house, or my bank statements. That was strange behavior for a home business site back then. It still is. Here's the full pledge, updated for an internet that got louder but didn't get more honest.

On this site, you will never see:

• Income screenshots or lifestyle photos. No cars, no houses, no beach laptops, no bank statements. If someone's leading with their stuff, they're selling you a dream, not a business.
• Fake scarcity. No countdown timers, no "only 3 spots left," no "price doubles at midnight." Real opportunities are still real on Tuesday.
• MLM or recruiting of any kind. You will never be asked to sign up your sister-in-law, your bowling league, or anyone else. What you build here is yours.
• Guru talk. No "secret system," no "one weird trick," no "the gurus don't want you to know." I've met some gurus. Mostly they want you to know their course price.
• Pressure. Nothing on this site will ever tell you that you're lazy, broke by choice, or "not committed enough" for not buying something. That's not coaching. That's a shakedown with a smile.

And you will always get:

• A human. Email this site and a real person answers — me. Call the number and a real person picks up. No chatbot pretending to be my assistant's assistant.
• Real numbers. When I talk about what you can earn, I'll give you ranges, timelines, and the boring math — including the part where the first months pay like a paper route.
• The mistakes, included free. Everything I teach, I've personally done — and where I lost money doing it wrong, you'll hear that part first.
• A no-strings exit. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works. Leave anytime. No guilt trip, no "are you SURE you want to abandon your dreams?"

Use this pledge as a scam detector: take any home business website and check it against this list. Every line they'd have to delete is a reason to close the tab.
